Goddess Dance Studio classes are great for women of all shapes, sizes, makes & models. Our clientele list incl. women ages 18 - 75 & from 110-450 pounds in weight all of whom love our Proven Program.
Pole dancing is a unique form of exercise because it provides the heart healthy benefits of an aerobic exercise while also allowing you to engage in social activity. This is especially stimulating to the mind according to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine. They also deduced that dancing can reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in the elderly. Furthermore, pole dancing requires memorizing steps and working with the pole, both of which provide mental challenges that are crucial for brain health.
Other benefits of pole dancing includes newly found confidence, improved posture and muscle toning in the core & back (helping to prevent back problems), tones & firms arms & shoulders, helps with weight loss, helps prepare women for childbirth, reduces stress, conditions the body, builds & increases stamina, develops the circulatory system, aids in balance, helps you release toxins via sweating, helps you develop strong social ties AND pole dancing has a way of brightening up a person’s day.
